Hey Adventurers,
So I have been taking a little detour from my adventures in Azeroth to give the website a much needed overhaul.
If you have been around for a while, you will remember the old layout. It was clean, simple, and very blog first. It did the job. Posts front and center, categories on the side, and not much else going on. But as the site grew, I started feeling like it did not really reflect what I actually do anymore.

This place has slowly become more than just a Warcraft blog.
By day I am building things. Prototypes. Systems. Unity experiments. Small projects that sometimes work and sometimes explode in spectacular fashion. By night I am diving into MMOs, survival games, and anything else that grabs my attention. The old design did not really give those different sides of my life room to breathe.
So… Sloth Codes was born.
Instead of a blog first layout, the new design acts more like a hub. A proper HQ. Projects have their own space. The blog still lives on, but it is now part of a bigger picture rather than the entire focus. There is room for a gallery. There is room to track my World of Warcraft journey. There is room for whatever weird side project I decide to hyper focus on at 1am.
Under the hood, this is a heavily customised WordPress setup. It is no longer just picking a theme and tweaking colours. I have been building out templates, restructuring content types, and shaping it into something that actually feels like mine, less “generic blog template” and now more “this is my little corner of the internet”.
The darker theme was a deliberate choice too. The old light design was clean, but it did not really match my personality or the games I tend to gravitate towards. The new look feels more cozy. More late night coding session. More azeroth at midnight (heh intentional, sorry I couldn't resist).
One of the things I am most excited about is having everything connected. My projects, my blog posts, my warcraft updates and screenshots. Instead of scattering that across different platforms, it all lives here now.
This redesign is not just visual. It is a shift in direction.
More projects. More Warcraft. More chaos.
